Catering is a tough business, and our team at Don’s Supply has a lot of respect for people that have the courage to rise to the challenge. Caterers have to do most of the same things that a restaurant owner does, and operate out of kitchens that aren’t their own (if the venue has a kitchen at all). They have to serve a large crowd hot food all at once, and they have to do it at important events that have been planned for months in advance. They also have to be creative problem solvers when things don’t quite go according to plan. But when it’s done right, it’s a very rewarding and profitable business.
